Promotionsprogramm Buddhismus-Studien
Das „Promotionsprogramm Buddhismus-Studien“ ist ein interfakultärer und interdisziplinärer, strukturierter Promotionsstudiengang. Als Kooperation der Institute für Indologie, Japanologie, Religionswissenschaft, Sinologie und Tibetologie entstand das Programm auf der Grundlage des „Zentrums für Buddhismusforschung“.

Internationales Promotionsprogramm Transformationsprozesse in europäischen Gesellschaften
Das Promotionsprogramm ist ein gemeinsames Projekt kulturwissenschaftlich-anthropologisch ausgerichteter Institute der Universitäten in Basel, Graz, Londonderry (University of Ulster, Magee Campus), Kopenhagen, München (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität), Murcia und Tel Aviv.

Internationales Doktorand:innenkolleg Umweltdenken/ International Doctorate Program „Rethinking Environment“
“Re-Thinking Environment” is a cooperation between two distinguished academic centres: the Environmental Science Center, WZU, at Augsburg University, and the Rachel Carson Center at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Our international doctorate program builds on the assumption that the changes we are now facing are not limited to what some believe to be narrowly definable ecological problems: the impact on human societies and cultures is equally immense. Working with rather than against the natural and technological sciences, our doctorate program emphasises the epistemic, social, cultural, and political relevance of the humanities and social sciences as an indispensable part of the knowledge production that the Environmental Humanities can offer.
